Liv Carpenter (b. 1953) is the widow of Vaughn Carpenter, and a resident of Carpenter's Knot.
Background[]
When Vaughn died in May of 1983 and was replaced by a chameleon that took his shape, Mrs. Carpenter chose to live with the replica of her husband rather than becoming a widow.
In September of 2010, the chameleon (in the form of Vaughn) told Eleanor Carr that Mrs. Carpenter had died. At that time, Mrs. Carpenter secretly left the island while the chameleon shed Vaughn's form and took on the shape of Audrey Parker, believing that she could help him.
