Background[]
He is Troubled, afflicted with the ability to make other people suffer total rigor mortis while still alive, thereby killing them; the people he inadvertantly targets also see a countdown clock in any digital display which can be seen only by them.
He was stabbed in the stomach in his own store by Wade Crocker, who used Krebbs's blood to activate his own Trouble. He is rushed to the hospital and survives his stab wound.
