Stephen King (@StephenKing) is an American author of horror, science-fiction and fantasy.
His novels include Carrie, `Salem's Lot, The Shining, The Stand, The Dead Zone, It, Needful Things, The Tommyknockers, Duma Key, Under the Dome, and the Dark Tower series.
In particular, King is the author of The Colorado Kid, the novel upon which the television series Haven is based.
A copy of King's novel Tommyknockers is kept in the state room of Duke Crocker's boat, Cape Rouge. Tommyknockers is King's only novel to have been set primarily in the town of Haven, Maine.
