Laverne had at least one other semi On-screen appearance. In Season 1, Episode 10 "The Hand You're Dealt", as Nathan is leaving the Police Station (while Vanessa is lurking, right after she hangs up with Duke), he says "Night, Laverne" and waves to a woman sitting with her back to the camera inside the doorway he passes, she waves back and says "Night, sweetie". This means, while we don't see her face, we do see Laverne in Season One.
